We currently have an exciting opportunity for Casual Learn to Swim Instructors to join our Goonellabah Sports and Aquatics Centre (GSAC) and Lismore Memorial Baths (LMB) teams.

You will be working in a rewarding role providing swimming lessons to individuals, groups and schools as per our Swimsations Learn to Swim Program. This position comes with the benefit of being able to utilise the wonderful facilities that GSAC has to offer.

  • Deliver Learn to Swim classes according to the Swimsations Learn to Swim Program
  • Ensure the safety of all students 
  • Provides direction and tuition to participants
  • Deliver consistently high levels of customer satisfaction and teaching excellence
  • Deliver services aligned to the business activities of the team.

What you'll need to be successful

  • Be outcome focused and accepting of new ideas and embrace change
  • Demonstrated experience in the delivery of effective high-level customer service
  • Able to work independently and in a team while fostering an environment based on teamwork and cooperation
  • Excellent time management skills

If you have an interest in being a learn to swim instructor, but aren't yet qualified, Swim Australia are holding a Learn to Swim Instructor Course at GSAC on 29 September 2023. A Royal Life Swim Instructor Course is also being held on the 20 October 2023 at GSAC (Course completion will be at your own cost).
