We have an exciting opportunity for two Finance Officer's to join our Finance team. These positions are primarily based at our Corporate Centre in Goonellabah and are responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate processing of creditors and debtors and injecting efficiency into our financial processes. As a vital member of our finance team, adaptability is key as this role may be required to support more than one department when the need arises, contributing to the overall success of our organisation.

Finance Officer - Permanent full-time position - working 70 hours per fortnight.

Finance Officer - 12 Month Max Term from commencement - working 70 hours per fortnight.

What we trust you to deliver

Contribute to the efficient and effective financial management of Lismore City Council
Timely and accurate processing of Creditors and Debtors
Contribute to the development, implementation and achievement of the Finance Departments goals and objectives
Assist other areas of the finance team and pro actively identify and cover essential duties of team members during planned and unplanned leave

What you'll need to be successful

Certificate III in business, finance or accounting or equivalent work experience
Relevant work experience would be an advantage, though not essential
Computer literacy skills and high levels of accuracy with data entry
Current Class C Driver's Licence
