As part of our Roads and Quarry Chief Operating Office, we're looking for a motivated and dynamic Team Leader for our Patching Crew who embodies our core values of integrity, customer service, and continuous improvement.
As Team Leader Patching Crew you'll be working in a permanent full time 38 hour role, that will primarily be based at our Wyrallah Road Depot in East Lismore.

What we trust you to deliver 
  • Leadership and Management: Directly supervising staff, fostering teamwork, and ensuring the efficient and effective use of materials and resources. You'll be the linchpin in daily planning, safety standards adherence, and operational excellence
  • Safety and Compliance: Upholding Work Health & Safety standards, you'll manage risks, ensuring all operations comply with legislative requirements. Your commitment to safety and quality will be paramount.
  • Innovation and Excellence: Leading by example, you'll drive your team towards achieving service delivery benchmarks, embracing change, and continuously looking for ways to improve processes and outcomes.
  • Customer-Centric Service: Building and maintaining strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, ensuring high levels of customer service and actively resolving issues.
What you'll need to be successful
  • Certificate III in Civil Construction or similar, Construction Induction Certificate, Current Class LR Driver’s Licence
  • Proven experience in leading teams, risk management, plant and equipment operation, and delivering high-level customer service. Your digital literacy and competency in corporate IT systems for record-keeping are essential
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills are a must
  • Adept at conflict resolution, mentoring, and driving behavioural change within your team
