As part of our Roads and Quarry Chief Operating Office, we're looking for a motivated and dynamic Team Leader for our Patching Crew who embodies our core values of integrity, customer service, and continuous improvement.
As Team Leader Patching Crew you'll be working in a permanent full time 38 hour role, that will primarily be based at our Wyrallah Road Depot in East Lismore.

What we trust you to deliver

Leadership and Management: Directly supervising staff, fostering teamwork, and ensuring the efficient and effective use of materials and resources. You'll be the linchpin in daily planning, safety standards adherence, and operational excellence

Safety and Compliance: Upholding Work Health & Safety standards, you'll manage risks, ensuring all operations comply with legislative requirements. Your commitment to safety and quality will be paramount.

Innovation and Excellence: Leading by example, you'll drive your team towards achieving service delivery benchmarks, embracing change, and continuously looking for ways to improve processes and outcomes.

Customer-Centric Service: Building and maintaining strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, ensuring high levels of customer service and actively resolving issues.
What you'll need to be successful

Certificate III in Civil Construction or similar, Construction Induction Certificate, Current Class LR Driver’s Licence

Proven experience in leading teams, risk management, plant and equipment operation, and delivering high-level customer service. Your digital literacy and competency in corporate IT systems for record-keeping are essential

Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills are a must

Adept at conflict resolution, mentoring, and driving behavioural change within your team
