We are inviting applications from current employees that would be interested in a trainee opportunity to develop into the role of a Development Assessment Officer (Planning). If you are ready to start a career in statutory planning, we urge you to apply for this opportunity. 
You will join our Planning and Environment team and have the opportunity to learn and grow and in the field of town planning. You will be immersed in a learning-intensive role, under the mentorship of our experience Senior Planners and the Planning Coordinator. Your training will equip you to handle a wide range of development types and complexities, preparing you to become a fully qualified Planning Development Assessment Officer.

The Ideal Candidate 
  • Committed to study to obtain their qualifications to become a qualified  Development Assessment Officer (Planning).
  • Motivated and eager to learn with a keen interest in statutory planning.
  • Strong oral, written and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate and collaborate with a variety of stakeholders.
  • Ability to work effectively in both individual and team settings.
