We have an exciting opportunity for a Quarry Production Team Leader to join our Quarry Operations team. You'll be responsible for ensuring the safe, efficient, and effective use of materials and resources to support the operations of our quarry facility whilst working alongside a dedicated team to achieve the Council’s goals and maintain high standards of operation.
This is a permanent full time 38 hours per week role, primarily based at our Northern Rivers Quarry, Nimbin Road Blakebrook.

What we trust you to deliver 
  • Organise resources to meet the requirements of the business and to achieve Council’s goals.
  • Maintain effective communication and relationships with relevant stakeholders.
  • Operate quarry plant and conduct quarry development activities.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements of the quarry worksite.
What you'll need to be successful
  • Relevant Certificate III qualification or equivalent, together with experience within an extractive/quarry/weighbridge environment and plant operation.
  • Self-motivated, observant, proactive and aware. 
  • Proven leadership abilities with the capability to supervise staff effectively, understand their skills and personalities, and maximise their potential.
  • An excellent communicator and active listener who values and encourages input from all team members.
