We have an exciting opportunity for a Plant Operator to join our Roads and Quarry team. This is a permanent role and will be responsible for the operation and maintenance of plant associated with the extractive industry/quarry environment. 
You'll be working 76 hours per fortnight, and will primarily be based at our Northern Rivers Quarry located at Blakebrook approximately 9km from Lismore.

What we trust you to deliver 

  • Safely and effectively operate quarry plant equipment
  • Maintain effective communication and relationships with key stakeholders and customers internal and external
  • Undertake maintenance on various plants/machinery and assist with major overhauls as per maintenance schedule
  • Support work improvement processes and ensure quality assurance processes are followed

What you'll need to be successful

  • WorkCover Construction Induction Card (White Card)
  • Class C Drivers Licence 
  • Sound communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively with people from all backgrounds 
  • The ability to work under pressure, prioritise and meet deadlines

Desirable

  • HR Drivers Licence
  • Front End Loader operational competence
  • Excavator operational competence
