About the position:
We are seeking a dedicated Duty Manager for the Lismore Memorial Baths to serve as the lead lifeguard and supervisor on duty. In this role, you will oversee the opening and closing of the facility, manage customer inquiries related to pool memberships, swim school, and kiosk services, and ensure the smooth operation of the centre. The ideal candidate will have a proactive, customer-focused approach to daily operations, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for all patrons. This is a seasonal part-time position, available until 15 May 2025, with a minimum of 30 hours and up to 38 hours per week. Join us in delivering exceptional service at the Lismore Memorial Baths.

What we trust you to deliver 
  • Lead and supervise the day-to-day operations at Lismore Memorial Baths (LMB).
  • Deliver excellent customer service, including handling inquiries and providing support to staff.  
  • Ensure compliance with Work Health and Safety (WHS) policies and manage risk within the facility.  
  • Operate the Links software program for administration, including end-of-day reconciliation and banking.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and presentation of the facility at all times.
  • Supervise patrons to ensure their safety and compliance with facility regulations.    
What you'll need to be successful
  • First Aid Certificate (can be attained as part of training). 
  • Royal Life Pool Lifeguard Certificate (can be attained as part of training).  
  • Chief Fire Warden Certificate (can be attained as part of training).  
  • NSW Working with Children Check.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong conflict resolution and negotiation skills.
