About this Position:
This permanent role is responsible for providing exceptional customer service and efficient transaction processing across various operations, including our Resource Recovery Facility, Revolve Shop, Bulk Container Return and Earn facility, Weighbridge and Nimbin Transfer Station. The ideal candidate will excel in a collaborative environment and will demonstrate a strong commitment to supporting the success of our dedicated team.

Provide a high level of customer service to internal and external customers across various areas of the facility

Work efficiently across a variety of roles in a fast-paced environment

Comply with regulatory and safety requirements of the sites
What you will need to be successful:

Certificate II or higher in relevant industry or equivalent industry experience

Current Class C Drivers Licence
-
SafeWork Construction Induction Card (White Card)

Demonstrated excellence in customer service
- Ability to work effectively and positively in a team environment

Full Time Contract: contracted hours of work - 76 hours a fortnight
Salary: A salary range from $1,155.40 (Grade 7 Entry) per week + superannuation

Conditions of Employment: Conditions of employment are in the Local Government (State) Award and relevant Council policy, procedures and agreements.

Immunisation Program
Council has an immunisation program to provide employees with vaccinations against known health risks associated with their respective duties and to identify any exposure to products that may affect an employee’s health, fitness and wellbeing. This position has been identified as a risk to the employee and as such the successful applicant/s will be required to participate in the immunisation program and it is the applicant’s responsibility to have undertaken relevant immunisation/s prior to commencement with Council.
