About this Position:
Lismore City Council is seeking a skilled Floating Plant Operator to join our Quarry team. This role is critical in supporting quarry operations, ensuring the efficient and effective use of plant, materials, and resources.
As a Floating Plant Operator, you will work across various plant and equipment, including excavators, loaders, crushing plants, and heavy rigid trucks. This is an opportunity to be part of a dynamic team, contributing to safe, efficient, and high-quality quarry operations.

What we trust you to deliver:
- Operate and maintain a range of plant equipment, including excavators, loaders, skid steers, and crushing plants.
- Ensure compliance with Work Health and Safety (Mines and Petroleum Sites) regulations.
- Maintain effective communication with team members to ensure production efficiency.
- Follow environmental control systems and ensure compliance with quality assurance processes.
- Carry out manual handling duties and assist with site maintenance.
- Deliver excellent customer service to both internal and external stakeholders.
What you will need to be successful:
- Excavator Certificate of Competency
- Front End Loader Certificate of Competency
- WorkCover Construction Induction Certificate (White Card)

Full Time: 76 hours a fortnight
Salary: Starting from $58,396 per annum + superannuation
