About this Position:
As Cafe Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role within our GSAC Cafe, directly influencing the quality of service and operational excellence. You will be responsible for ensuring outstanding customer service, maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen and cafe areas, and supporting team members in providing a vibrant and welcoming atmosphere. In close consultation with the Operations Manager, this position is responsible for making informed decisions that impact the day-to-day operations and ensure the cafe runs smoothly and efficiently.
The role is permanent part-time, 20 hours a week based at our GSAC Cafe in Goonellabah.

What we trust you to deliver:
- Oversee the daily operations of the cafe to ensure a high standard of service.
- Foster a welcoming environment for all customers, handle inquiries and complaints with professionalism, and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Lead, train and motivate cafe staff to achieve operational goals.
- Monitor food and beverage quality, ensure adherence to health and safety standards, and take corrective actions as necessary.
- Comply with all WHS requirements as per policy and regulations.
What you'll need to be successful:
- Working with Children Check.
- First Aid Certificate (can be attained as part of training).
- Food Safety Supervisor Accreditation (can be attained as part of training)
- Demonstrated computer literacy.
- Strong customer service experience, with skills in conflict resolution and negotiation.
