About This Position:
The Manager Engineering (Water) leads the planning, design, delivery and maintenance of Council’s water, sewer and urban stormwater infrastructure. The role ensures safe, sustainable and compliant services for the community by overseeing strategic planning, asset management, project delivery, technical standards and operational performance.

What We Trust You To Deliver:

Lead and develop multidisciplinary teams across water, sewer and stormwater.

Develop strategic, asset management and capital works plans.
-
Oversee planning, design and delivery of water, wastewater and stormwater projects.

Provide technical leadership including hydraulic modelling and network performance.

Manage budgets, procurement, contracts and contractor performance.
What You Will Need To Be Successful:
-
Tertiary qualifications in Civil or Environmental Engineering.

Chartered Engineer status or eligibility.
-
Extensive experience in water, sewer and stormwater planning and operations.

Strong legislative and standards knowledge.

Proven leadership capability.
-
NSW Class C Driver Licence.

Working Hours: 70-hour fortnight.
Salary: A competitive salary will be offered to the successful applicant based on their relevant skills and experience.
