The Opportunity:We seek a Project Scheduler with experience in planning, scheduling, and project controls who will be responsible for developing and delivering project schedules for the restoration projects within the Flood Restoration Portfolio.
This position reports to the program’s Control Manager and is a critical for our large multi-year restoration projects. Responsible for developing and maintaining a comprehensive program schedule and ensuring effective coordination and execution of the program.
Collaboration with delivery leads/project managers and stakeholders to develop project plans, align schedules, and resolve conflicts, ensuring an integrated and cohesive program schedule and timely completion of the program’s deliverables.
The scheduler will also be required to update monthly progress across the FRP, track changes against the baseline schedule, and report them to the various governance forums. Additionally, this role will support other PMO program deliverables as required.

Plan and schedule work in Primavera P6 for multiple projects/programs of work.

Manage schedule changes.

Complete work order finalisation activities.

Provide detailed scheduling information to support project planning and decision-making, ensure alignment with project budgets and timelines, and maintain open communication with all stakeholders to inform them about schedule statuses and changes.

Collaborate with project managers to align plans with overall portfolio objectives.

Facilitate the sequencing of project activities to optimize resource allocation and mitigate scheduling conflicts.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives in schedule management processes, tools, and methodologies, leveraging best practices and lessons learned to enhance program performance.

Facilitate regular schedule review meetings with project managers and team members to review and adjust schedules as needed.

Ensure that schedules are realistic and align with the financial and time constraints of the projects.

Identify, assess, and mitigate program risks and issues, proactively address challenges, and ensure timely resolution to minimize impact on program outcomes.
The successful candidate will have knowledge and some experience in applying civil construction and project management principles and practices. Skills and/or knowledge in managing time, setting priorities, scheduling, project management, and a strong stakeholder engagement focus are all required for this role.In this role, you will join our PMO team and will be responsible for supporting the successful completion of projects. Additional details-
Term Contract: contracted hours of work 35 hours a week/70 hours a fortnight up to 31 December 2027.
