About this Position:
Join us in delivering exceptional service at the Lismore Memorial Baths (LMB) this 2025/2026 season. We provide excellent service to our patrons and take pride in fostering a welcoming and inclusive environment.
We are seeking a dedicated Duty Manager for the Lismore Memorial Baths to serve as the lead lifeguard and supervisor on duty. In this role, you will oversee the opening and closing of the facility, manage customer enquiries related to pool memberships, swim school, and kiosk services, and ensure the smooth operation of the centre. The ideal candidate will have a proactive, customer-focused approach to daily operations, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for all patrons.
This is position is on a maximum-term, part-time contract for a duration of 6 months, commencing January 2026. You will be working 30 hours per week, however, there is also the potential to work additional hours as opportunities arise.
It is a requirement of the role to work a variety of morning, day and evening shifts across the week and additional shifts at Goonellabah Sports and Aquatic Centre (GSAC) as needed.

What we trust you to deliver:
- Lead and supervise the day-to-day operations at Lismore Memorial Baths (LMB).
- Deliver excellent customer service, including handling inquiries and providing support to staff.
- Ensure compliance with Work Health and Safety (WHS) policies and manage risk within the facility.
- Operate the Links software program for administration, including end-of-day reconciliation and banking.
- Maintain the cleanliness and presentation of the facility at all times.
- Supervise patrons to ensure their safety and compliance with facility regulations.
What you will need to be successful:
- Have a genuine customer service focus
- Personal integrity and able to take responsibility
- An understanding of relevant Workplace Health and Safety
- First Aid Certificate/CPR
- Royal Life Pool Lifeguard Certificate
- Valid NSW Working with Children Check and National Police Check
