About this Position:

 

We have an exciting opportunity for a Contracts and Procurement Support Officer to join our Roads and Infrastructure team. This role will support the delivery of key services within the Directorate by managing procurement and contract activities end-to-end. Reporting to the Business Operations Lead, this role ensures strong governance, probity, and value-for-money outcomes while partnering with stakeholders across the organisation.

Working in a dynamic, multi-skilled team, you’ll contribute to continuous improvement and provide flexible support across departments where needed.

What we trust you to deliver:

  • Coordinate end-to-end procurement activities including RFQs, tenders, and panel arrangements in line with policy and legislation.
  • Draft, administer, and monitor contracts, variations, and performance schedules.
  • Ensure compliance, governance, probity, and audit readiness across procurement activities.
  • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and suppliers to support effective outcomes.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement, reporting, and capability uplift across the organisation.

 

What you will need to be successful:

  • Certificate IV in Procurement, Business or similar
  • Demonstrated experience in procurement or contract admin
  • Strong computer skills and knowledge of procurement processes
  • Demonstrated capacity to work effectively within a team environment, preferably in a setting that is supporting an outdoor staffing group.

Full Time Contract: 70-hours across a 9-day fortnight.

 

Salary: Annual Salary from $65,166, plus superannuation
