About this Position:
Join us in delivering exceptional service at the Goonellabah Sports and Aquatic Centre (GSAC) and Lismore Memorial Baths (LMB). We provide excellent service to our patrons and take pride in fostering a welcoming and inclusive environment. We are currently seeking a friendly, enthusiastic, and reliable individual to join our team as a Duty Manager.
The successful candidate will be required to work a variety of shifts, including early morning, day and evening shifts, from Monday through Saturday.
In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the smooth and safe day-to-day operations of our facility. Your responsibilities will include maintaining a safe and welcoming environment, delivering excellent customer service, handling administrative tasks, and supporting staff through training and ongoing professional development. You will also assist both the Operations Manager and the Leisure Facilities Manager with various operational duties.

What we trust you to deliver:
- Deliver excellent customer service, including handling inquiries and providing support to staff.
- Lead and supervise the day-to-day operations and ensure patron safety and compliance with facility regulations.
- Maintain the cleanliness and presentation of the facility at all times.
- Ensure compliance with Work Health and Safety (WHS) policies and manage risk within the facility.
- Support the Operations Manager and Leisure Facilities Manager with overseeing GSAC and LMB operations, continuous improvement and succession.
What you will need to be successful:
- Royal Life Pool Lifeguard Certificate (can be attained as part of training).
- Chief Fire Warden Training Certificate (can be attained as part of training).
- First Aid Certificate/CPR (can be attained as part of training).
- Valid NSW Working with Children Check and National Criminal History Check.
- Relevant industry experience and demonstrated leadership skills would be highly regarded.

Part-time: 30 hours per week
Salary: A competitive salary will be offered to the successful applicant commensurate with their relevant skills and experience.
