About this Position:
The Electrician Property Maintenance is responsible for the installation, maintenance, repair, testing, and fault finding of electrical systems across Council buildings, facilities and infrastructure.

What we trust you to deliver:
- Perform preventative and reactive electrical maintenance on Council buildings and facilities
- Diagnose and repair faults in electrical systems, lighting, switchboards, power circuits, appliances, and associated equipment.
- Install, maintain, and replace electrical components and systems as required.
- Conduct testing of electrical equipment in accordance with legislation and standards.
- Carry out emergency breakdown response and after-hours callouts when required.
- Assist with minor upgrades, refurbishments, and capital improvement projects.
- Where required, support the operation, maintenance, and optimisation of Council’s water, wastewater and waste treatment infrastructure and their team. This includes maintaining and installing electrical systems, instrumentation, and control technologies critical to the delivery of essential services.
What you will need to be successful:
- Relevant Certificate III in Electrotechnology or Electrical Mechanic
- Current unrestricted Electrical Licence
- General Induction Construction Card (White Card)
- Current Class C Drivers Licence
- Ability to work an on call roster and attend after-hours call outs when required.

Full Time: 76 hours per fortnight
Salary: From $1,353.60 to $1,556.64 per week + Trades Allowance of $210.00 per week + superannuation.
